As you are aware, the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) commenced the Call for Projects for Proposition 1 Round 2 Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) grant funding in January, 2022. Based on recent information from the Department of Water Resources (DWR), SAWPA is again extending the Call for Projects deadline to Wednesday June 1, 2022, at 5:00 pm PST.

This is an Advance Notice that the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) intends to issue a solicitation in the first quarter of 2022 for Phase I of a PFAS Regional Analysis for the Santa Ana River Watershed. The purpose of Phase I is to perform PFAS data collection and review of predictive PFAS models for the fate and transport of PFAS in surface flows of the Santa Ana River Watershed above Prado Dam. This announcement includes information on previously prepared Santa Ana River Watershed Predictive Water Quality Models, which may be considered as part of a PFAS Regional Analysis Predictive PFAS Model. More detailed information about these three models will be included in the forthcoming RFP.
